Uganda and The World Need to understand our Export strategy 2028 and 2062.
How can I Join PACEID
Joining PACEID Activities require you to be a certified exporter of Ugandan grown and made products. If you qualify, please email us at infor@paceid.org.
What is PACEID, and how does it work?
The Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID) was commissioned by His Excellency, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on 16th March, 2022.
PACEID acts as a think tank that advises President Museveni on strategic and systemic interventions, aimed at accelerating exports growth and industrial development for national transformation. It also serves as Uganda’s platform, where consensus is built across key institutions of government, policymakers, technical staff, producers, exporters and all stakeholders on deliberate action necessary to make exports a key growth tool for Uganda.

How do You help Exporters?
PACEID is coordinated under the Office of the President and is specifically charged with four key drivers of exports:
- Improving specific export infrastructure, such as border facilities and laboratories etc.
- Strengthening export laws, policies and regulations to ensure standards, compliance and conformity with international trade standards.
- Building an export credit finance scheme, to help exporters manage risk and foreign exchange issues.
- New market approaches, to increase the presence of Uganda’s products and services in the different export markets.
